Hilary Galanoy, along with her writing partner Elizabeth Hackett, works in both film and television. As a script writing team, they have sold original material and performed rewrites on projects at numerous production companies, studios, cable channels, and streamers, including Universal, Fox, Paramount, Freeform, ABC Signature, and Amazon. 

Hilary and Liz's produced works include Netflix Global #1 movie two weeks in a row in February 2025, LA DOLCE VILLA, starring Scott Foley, Maia Reficco, Violante Placido, and Giuseppe Futia.  A PERFECT PAIRING, starring Victoria Justice and Adam Demos, which debuted on Netflix in May 2022; LOVE, GUARANTEED, starring Rachael Leigh Cook, Damon Wayans Jr., and Heather Graham, which premiered on Netflix in September 2020. And Netflix's FALLING INN LOVE, which dropped in September 2019, staring Christina Milian and Adam Demos. Other movies include Hallmark Channel’s SISTERHOOD INC., SWEPT UP BY CHRISTMAS, MY BEST FRIEND’S BOUQUET, and FIR CRAZY, the musical RAGS for Nickelodeon, and GEEK CHARMING for the Disney Channel. Hilary and Liz wrote on Netflix's award-winning children's program PROJECT MC2 , moving up from story editors to co-producers. 

Hilary and Liz are also Executive Producers on A PERFECT PAIRING and LA DOLCE VILLA. As well as SISTERHOOD INC. for Fox.

In Hilary’s personal life, she loves yoga, her dog Betty, her husband Gary, sunny days, and sushi.
