Hilary Galanoy, along with her writing partner Elizabeth Hackett, works in both film and television. As a script writing team, they have sold original material and performed rewrites on projects at numerous production companies, studios, cable channels, and streamers, including Universal, Fox, Paramount, Freeform, ABC Signature, and Amazon. 

Hilary and Liz's produced works include the hit Netflix movie A PERFECT PAIRING, starring Victoria Justice and Adam Demos, which was #1 in the world for the streamer after debuting in May 2022; LOVE, GUARANTEED for Netflix, which premiered September 2020 and stars Rachael Leigh Cook, Damon Wayans Jr., and Heather Graham; and Netflix's FALLING INN LOVE, which dropped in September 2019, staring Christina Milian and Adam Demos. Other movies include Hallmark Channel’s SWEPT UP BY CHRISTMAS, MY BEST FRIEND’S BOUQUET, and FIR CRAZY, the musical RAGS for Nickelodeon, and GEEK CHARMING for the Disney Channel. Hilary and Liz wrote on Netflix's award-winning children's program PROJECT MC2 , moving up from story editors to co-producers. Next up is another romantic comedy for Netflix, titled LA DOLCE VILLA, staring Scott Foley, Maia Reficco, and Violante Placido, due out in 2025.

Hilary and Liz are also Executive Producers on A PERFECT PAIRING and LA DOLCE VILLA.

In Hilary’s personal life, she loves yoga, her dog Betty, her husband Gary, and sunny days.
